Digital Design has started a project on support and development of corporate Internet and Intranet solutions based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 for Onninen - a large provider of comprehensive materials services from Finland.

Currently Onninen's websites in different countries are supported and developed by different organizations using various platforms. To make the management process easier and unify business operations in different branches the local systems had to be integrated on the basis of a common Internet solution using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 standard functionality. Digital Design will also support the new websites and perform further necessary custom development. The project has started in August 2009.

Digital Design won the multi-stage tender organized for Onninen by Prisma Consulting. The customer appreciated deep knowledge of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server demonstrated by Digital Design's experts. Digital Design's experience with customers from Northern Europe and geographical proximity of Digital Design's Development Center played a significant role in the selection process.
