Digital Design specialists developed new solution for mobile device management that enables to manage tablets, PPCs, smart phones and other mobile devices remotely without user interference.

Implementation of this system enables remote adjustment of mobile devices, installation and updating of applications. The solution makes possible to create various sets of applicationsfor different groups of employees, including software specifically developed for the company and also available on general sources (i.e. AppStore). Running of new gadget requires just few minutes and does not demand work of system administrators. As a result users may concentrate on their tasks without distraction to the technical tasks.

The mobile device management system also declines risk of leakage of confidential information due to immediate deleting of data from the device upon user request in case of theft or loss. Security policies implemented in the solution are applicable to mobile devices.

Additionally, Digital Design’s solution helps to automate IT department efforts related to managing mobile devices. Without it, installation and updating of software on tablets, smart phones and mobile phones would require connection of the device to PC or creation and administrating additional web-server of the company. The adjustment of settings of the device would be possible only by system administrator. The solution enables to change settings and content of the software remotely. It also makes possible centrally using web-console to distribute settings and applications for mobile devices for single users as well as for groups of them. There is possibility to set mail client in the system to get access to corporate e-mail, arrange connection to the corporate network and Internet via Wi-Fi, VPN, proxy-servers, set permission for purchase of applications from Apple AppStore. The single control point allows setting equal standards for all mobile devices and increasing accessibility and user-friendliness of IT services.
